Application to today: This book is both educational and thrilling. There's never a dull moment as O'rielly follows Lincoln through his everyday routines as President of the United States. The author does an excellent job as portraying how the position of President has changed. This book also gives insight into the great man that Lincoln was. I learned a great deal about Lincoln, his policies, character, and personal life. He sets a standard for our current political leaders.
